Tessa Thompson

Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress, born the 3rd of October, 1983 on the streets of Los Angeles. She is the daughter of the singer and songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the grandchild of musician-actor Bobby Ramos. The family lived within Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. She is of Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian descent. Thompson was a student at Santa Monica High School, where she played in various theatre productions. Following graduation, she was enrolled in Santa Monica College, where she obtained a master's degree in the field of cultural Anthropology. In the role of Juliet, she portrayed William Shakespeare's play "Romeo as well as Juliet" as part of the Pasadena California production of The Boston Court Theatre. It was her nomination for the NAACP Theatre Award in the same year. The first time she appeared on TV was on the air in 2005. She was on CBS. Tessa Tessa Tessa
