The most glamorous of careers often hide some of the darkest stories beneath. Lolo Jones, who is the athlete of the USA and World hurdles, has earned the status he has achieved after years of dedication and perseverance. Born to a single mother with five kids, Jones had a difficult and impoverished childhood. Her mom lived in the roads and within the basement of the local church in the past. A life of constant movement made it necessary for Jones to change schools and attend a new school every year until the time she entered in high school. At Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones resided apart from her mother to pursue her passion for athletics. Jones stayed in four residences during her high school period to be able to complete her studies at one location. Jones as a cellist in the school's orchestra, and the winner of Gatorade Iowa track and field athlete of the year was awarded an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award at the end of her high school career. As she began college, Jones proved to be one of the top hurdlers. At the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship, she won the 100-meter hurdles. She also was part of the team that won the 100-meter relay. In 2003 and 2004, Jones won the indoor hurdles competition during the NCAA Championship. Jones is training since 2005 when she graduated from her education. The same year she also was the winner of in the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she won the Ostrava Track competition and Heusden.

Growing up from Cape Town South Africa Brandt moved with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her early teens. Brandt was discovered in Auckland by casting directors, and was offered the role of Naevia, in the Starz hit show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Due to her partnership alongside Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi's producers, she was an international movie star. Lesley Ann Brandt was born 2nd December in Cape Town in South Africa. She is a renowned New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt moved with her whole family from New Zealand into Auckland in 1999. After just a couple of years being employed in the retail industry and then being promoted to the post of IT manager consultant. Lesley began modeling, after which she began appearing in commercials. The year 2008 was the time she concluded her studies in acting. Then, in 2009 she began her training again using the Meisner method of study. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia a young hostage in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her character was shown in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
