Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo in the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant in January 2013 at the Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to the series. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on the social networks.
